Planetary gearboxes share load across multiple gears (typically 3 to 4 planet gears), providing significantly higher torque density and impact resistance within a smaller diameter. They also offer co-axial alignment, which simplifies axial mounting configurations.
We offer customized shaft lengths, D-cut or keyway configurations, custom gear ratios, high-temperature lubrication greases, specialized winding parameters for alternative input voltages, integrated magnetic or optical encoders, and terminal cable wire-harness terminations.
We verify every batch using dynamometers for speed-torque curves, acoustic testing in soundproof rooms to guarantee low-noise performance, constant temperature/humidity aging tests, and salt spray testing for corrosion resistance.
Brushless motors (BLDC) offer higher efficiency, virtually zero electrical noise, and much longer operating life as they lack carbon brushes that wear down. However, they require external controller electronics (ESC) to manage stator coils, whereas brushed motors run directly off DC power sources.
